When I decided to become a nurse, I made the most important decision in my life. I had a very strong inner feeling that I’ve got a power to heal and to become a healer. I assume that I have all the features of character which meet the requirements of being a nurse. The most important, I believe, is empathy, attention to details, respect, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

I already had a chance to show all of them during the 6-year nursing experience in OB/Gyn Ward, Medical-ICU ward, Medical Ward, Emergency Room, Dermatology, Urology, Dental, Pediatrics, Radiology/Ultrasound Department, OPD and Event Paramedic (in both Government and Private Hospitals across the Philippines and U.A.E). And of course, I acquired knowledge and skills which are very helpful in my current work. Some traits, such as caring heart and desire to help others, you can’t get from practice. All you can do is to dedicate your life to your calling and complete your mission every day fully.
