I became a registered nurse because I wanted to help people. I wanted to do something positive in my life that would improve the lives of others.

Nurses have the ability to build trust and confidence in people.  Even though times are hard for our patients, we are there to help, comfort and support them.

Being a registered nurse is about seeing the “big picture”.  I use my training and experience to critically think as I analyze my patient’s condition and medications to make decisions about their care.

Being a registered nurse enables me to continue to learn every day, but most importantly, there is great satisfaction in caring for others whether you are seeing your patients improve or making them comfortable when they are in pain.
